Penn Placements was founded by three sisters living in three different places, each shaped by very different camp experiences. Together with our growing team, we're passionate about helping families find the camp and the experience that's the right fit for each child. We can't wait to be part of your family's journey!
Our Founders
Melissa (Penn) Post
Melissa Penn Post
Melissa Post has spent more than 10 years helping families find the right overnight camp and summer programs. Growing up in Boston as the oldest of three sisters, Melissa credits her camp experience with teaching her independence, confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Today, her twin daughters attend the very same camp she loved growing up.
A Dartmouth College graduate with an MBA from NYU, Melissa spent a decade in marketing and consulting before following her passion for camp advising. After years of helping families navigate the camp search, she co-founded Penn Placements with her two sisters, combining her industry expertise, love of camp, and commitment to finding every child the right fit.

Tracy (Penn) Hoffman
Tracy Penn Hoffman
Tracy Hoffman grew up in Boston with her two sisters, who are now her business partners at Penn Placements. Before co-founding the company, she built a career in television, marketing, and event planning. Having experienced both the wrong camp and the right camp as a child, Tracy knows firsthand how important it is to find the best fit. Today, as a proud camp mom, she's watched both her son and one of her daughters thrive at camp and looks forward to helping her youngest daughter find her perfect fit when the time comes.
Tracy is also involved with Experience Camps, supporting children who have lost a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. She believes every child deserves a camp where they can build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships.

Jamie Penn Haber
Jamie Haber has spent nearly two decades helping growth-stage companies build exceptional leadership teams across consumer retail, health and wellness, food and beverage, and services. A natural connector with an entrepreneurial spirit, she loves bringing people and opportunities together.
Jamie's own camp experience shaped her confidence and independence, from attending an all-girls camp with her sisters to finding her own path at a co-ed camp. Now living in New York City with her husband and two young children, she's excited to help families find the summer experience that's the right fit for their child.
